Wondhuis bestaat uit een team van zorg professionals die actief zijn in de wondzorg. Dit team begeleidt en ondersteunt het vormen van een transmurale, multidisciplinaire behandeling van wondzorg in de regio. De zorg professionals volgen allen een vaste werkwijze in het behandelen, registreren, informeren en zo nodig doorverwijzen van patiënten met (complexe) wonden. Met als doel, aantoonbaar snellere wondgenezing tegen lagere kosten, wat moet leiden tot integrale uitkomstgerichte zorg en financiering.
