Wood From the Hood reclaims urban trees. We work with local tree services to convert urban trees in to high quality lumber and natural edge slabs. All of the tree's we receive are tracked by the zip code of where the tree was removed. We DO NOT HARVEST. All the trees we receive were coming down either from disease, new construction, or came down in a storm. We also offer custom milling services for homeowners or businesses that lose a tree and would like create something from the lumber.
