Wood Owl Original Designs began when the electric company cut down some apple trees on my property and I was determined to not let the tree go to waste. I collected that wood, including the roots and am now dedicated to extending the life of trees and reclaimed wood to create one of a kind art. I recycle and reuse fractured, spalted, rotten and imperfect locally sourced or gifted woods to create unique, natural organic art like no one else does. Each piece is carved, turned, finished by hand and the oils and waxes used to finish my art are 100% food grade. Contact me for custom work.
