Education/Training - Baulkham Hills, NSW, AU
Woodbury is an independent K-6 primary school for children with a primary diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Woodbury aims to provide students with the necessary learning skills to lead a happy and independent life. Our classes range from high support needs in which students are provided a higher staff to student ratio, allowing more opportunity for one-to-one instruction and a greater level of support within a group setting, to low support needs, where staff to student ratio is less in readiness for transition to a new school environment. Our goal is for all students to participate in less restrictive settings, be this in the form of transitioning to a support class or unit within a mainstream school or in the form of community participation and increased independence. To achieve this we provide a variety of different class structures focusing on the teaching of individual skills and systematic fading of staffing ratios.

Woodbury is a school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. We help kids learn the skills they need to be happy and independent. We have different classes based on each child's needs. Some classes have more teachers to help students who need extra support, while others have fewer teachers to help students become more independent. Our goal is for all students to eventually move to a less restrictive environment, such as a mainstream school or community setting. We do this by teaching individual skills and gradually reducing the amount of support students receive.
