Woodworth Inc. provides a wide range of heat treatment services through our three facilities. We are currently located in Pontiac and Flint, Michigan, as well as Puebla, Mexico. We will soon be operational in Homer, Michigan. Woodworth Inc. services include:•Nanotechnology, specifically Nanowear ®, providing corrosion resistance to the oil and gas industry.•Ferritic nitrocarburizing (FNC) of brake rotors for the auto industry, resulting in greater performance of the rotor, enhanced durability, noise reduction, and decreased friction. The end result is longer life of the part, allowing extended warranty periods and rust-free brakes. •Ultrawear ® is applied to steel components to increase wear resistance. It also increases the material strength properties as well as increasing its resistance to corrosion.Woodworth is currently heat treating in excess of 1.5 million pounds per dayWoodworth Incorporated's Nanowear ® technology is a thermal chemical diffusion process. It is important to note that it is not a coating.
