WoofUp is a mobile app on a mission to make the dog community a better place for dogs and their owners. This means no more disappointing visits to dog parks, dealing with aggressive dogs, or awkward exchanges with other dog owners.We launched WoofUp after realizing how hard it was for our co-founder's husky, Icy, to make new friends at the local dog parks. Empty parks and mismatched playdates took the fun out of visits to the dog park. By being able to filter dog parks by Icy's ideal playmates, our co-founder realized that he can find friends for Icy safely and easily!WoofUp allows pup owners to: - Set match preferences, like breed, size, and energy level. - View the dogs playing at nearby places, such as dog parks. - Check into places and notify other dog owners nearby that your dogs are ready to play.
