Work Value is a Canberra based Human Resource Consultancy, established in 2015 by experienced and skilled APS Human Resource Professionals.Our purpose is to share our extensive APS HR knowledge.We have developed a Core APS HR Roadmap titled ‘Integrated HR Functions Model' where we have dedicated over 12 months to documenting and explaining legislative requirements, policy initiatives and our extensive ‘how-to' subject matter knowledge, for each HR function within our Roadmap. We have produced nine comprehensive methodologies containing 'how-to' workbooks, training plans, handouts and templates that provide best practice processes that will ensure workforce outcomes are consistent and once implemented will be sustained. Our service offer in relation to any one or more of the nine methodologies within the Integrated HR Functions Model is to either:• teach and mentor your APS employees 'how-to'; and/or• as part of an agency team, lead, partner and mentor your APS employees; or• take accountability and deliver the outcomes for the identified methodologies.The HR outcomes we can deliver to an APS agency within the core APS HR Roadmap Model include:1. Segment your Workforce into APS Job Families;2. Assign an Agency Job Family structure to all APS positions;3. Develop Work Profiles complaint to the APS Work Level Standards;4. Develop plans to flatten management layers and increase span of control;5. Develop 3-Year Operational Workforce Plans;6. Develop I-Year Action Workforce Plans;7. Conduct Work Value Assessments on APS positions;8. Streamlined Performance Management – Assign Work with Clarity; and9.
