Work Wear World (WWW) is a specialist uniform provider that has been operating for close to 20 years. It bears no resemblance to our major competitors but it is one of the few organisations that have been established to predominately service large corporations. Because of this focus, the company punches well above its weight, as evidenced by the long term relationships it has developed with Holcim (previously Readymix) - Queensland Alumina - DP World - Linfox/Armaguard - DHL, the Toll Group, to name a few. Work Wear World is a unique company in every way. Its founders, Lynette Mayne and Stuart Hornery, wanted to create a business that broke all the rules, similar to what Stuart leading the Lend Lease organisation for over two decades did. That meant inspiring its employees to innovatively service all of its stakeholders. Its motto has been to ‘service our customers to death' with the objective of being the number one supplier to all of its clients; an honour it holds with many today. WWW has the reputation of being a leader in its field by taking on the role of employee advocate; whether being one of the first to design brand enhancing uniforms that are compliant to the Australian Standards; to pass all of the safety standard tests and publish its compliance certificates on the web; to introduce cotton backed micromesh in polos: to introduce zippers into safety vests and a comfort band to hold them close to the body; and so the list goes. All of this has been supported by a leading edge technology solution that has on its own secured some of our major customers.
