WorkerSpring is a platform that connects employers to community based organizations to hire their job seekers.We are on mission to cut joblessness in half in population groups that face job barriers by empowering community based organizations to offer the best services and programs available and partner with great employers to hire their job seekers. When employers create hiring partnerships with community based organizations that are aligned with their mission and business, they gain more access to loyal, skilled and capable workers. An organization and the programs they offer can act as a conduit to help employers recruit people that are a good fit regardless of their background. Instead of employers posting a job on the public domain and waiting for the right person to apply, they gain access to a viable workforce through their partnerships. Many employers will hire job seekers because they believe in an organization or program and the impact it is making on people's lives. The connection provides more accountability in the employee/employer relationship - out of respect for the organization, employers will ensure a great experience for the new employee and the employee will show up and do a better job. This opens up larger pool of available employees for the employer and better opportunities for the job seeker. Population groups that may face some type of job barrier include veterans, previously incarcerated, homeless, Americans with disabilities or refugees. Each employer that joins helps us reach our goal of cutting joblessness in half for these population groups.
