Workhouse Theatre Company is the only independent theatre company residing and producing in North Minneapolis. Based in North Minneapolis, WTC produces a full season of theatre offerings. WTC collaborates with established and emerging artists to interpret plays and generate new theatrical works. Our Mission Workhouse Theatre Company serves to enrich the North Minneapolis community by creating brave and transformative theatre experiences and educational opportunities.Home of the Greenhouse Project: The Greenhouse Project provides opportunities for playwrights with ties to Minnesota to have their scripts evaluated for possible inclusion in our Public Reading Series. Scripts with particular promise might be chosen for a development workshop and potentially a full scale production by WTC.
