We offer a full warehousing service that encompasses storage, distribution and fulfilment, ‘a complete one stop service'. Whatever the problem, we are here to help. We are basically in the business of "providing hands". Examples of previous work include: Cushion stuffing, vase washing, applying transfer stickers to toys, bar-coding toothbrushes, assorting clothing. The list is huge, but we are always looking for new challenges. Our speciality is rework, which is sometimes referred to as pre-retail services. These are essentially processes that assist in the retail sale of products. Examples would be applying a price sticker, changing the pack size, assorting, re-packing, shrink wrapping two products together and applying a new barcode for the twin pack etc. Services range from simple labelling to product finishing. We offer a full pick & pack service, and container loading and unloading plus a range of manual services.One service area that has grown considerably is product finishing. We ventured into this area by filling cushions. One of our neighbouring companies manufacture hollow fibre cushion pads, enabling us to offer to insert the pad into a cushion cover, Kimble tag the cushion, and pack into bags. As the pads are made within walking distance, there are no transport costs which means that we keep the price down. As the market is very competitive, this gives us an advantage over some of our competitors. We have now expanded this area to provide other services to companies with unfinished products. The benefit to our customers is being able to increase production temporarily, without capital expenditure.
