Workplace Safety and Health Council Details
The Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council is a statutory body under the Ministry of Manpower that is supported by Tripartite Alliance Limited. It works closely with the industry, unions, professionals, trade associations and other government agencies to raise WSH standards in Singapore. The Council's main functions include: Building industry capabilities to better manage WSH (e.g. Resources, Programmes);Promoting safety and health at work, and recognising companies with good WSH records (e.g. Campaigns and Awards and Competitions); andImplementing acceptable WSH practices to uphold Industry Standards (e.g. Codes of Practice, WSH Guidelines)
