World Child Project identifies gaps in the services for the direct care for orphaned and abandoned children in developing nations around the world.Through extensive due diligence and targeted research, we select projects with the greatest potential for systemic adoption based on the measured impact of our programs over the 2-3 year time horizon of our "investments." The complexion and leadership of all our projects is always a local one, whereby WCP identifies "change agents" currently getting promising results and gives them the crucial funding and capacity building support they need to grow.WCP works to improve communications, planning, coordination and cooperation among existing organizations; provides a forum for clarifying perceptions and expectations among agencies and between agencies and the community; helps inform priority setting for projects at a macro level through a comparative analysis of the potential social impact of often disparate education, direct care and health campaigns.
