World Comedy Expo Details
The World Comedy Expo is an international festival dedicated to celebrating the art of comedy by bringing together comedians, improvisers, and sketch performers from across the globe. For the inaugural expo, there is no greater city to host it than the birthplace of modern comedy; Chicago, Illinois. Chicago is known for its deep comedy roots and as a proving ground for many of the most recognizable comedians of our age: Bill Murray, Steve Carell, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Vince Vaughn, Melissa McCarthy and many more. Much like the namesake Worlds Fair Expos of the past, which offered a "glimpse of a happier not-too-distant future, all driven by innovation in science and technology" our Comedy Expo, emerging from the dark days of the Coronavirus, will offer a glimpse of a happier not-too-distant future, driven by the need for laughter.
