World Drone Challenge Pty Ltd represents both the World Drone Challenge (event) and Future Drone Innovation Challenge (hackathon).More information on WDC...The problem with drones is capacity and endurance. The more they have to carry, the less time they can fly. The further they have to fly, the less they can carry.World Drone Challenge is an global competition designed to push the boundaries of drone technology, capacity, endurance, safety and autonomy through leading edge AI.Held right here in Australia the event will see drones flying through real-world environments, over some of the most difficult and challenge terrain, carry payloads of up to 50+ kilograms, over a course of over 90+ kilometres, all whilst maintaining a height of 400ft AGL and the highest levels of safety.The World Drone Challenge as a global competition will attract clever people from around the globe here to Australia where we have the chance to develop a new and innovative drone industry by encouraging our Universities and Government to sponsor sticky prizes in the form of scholarships and research grants to the brightest international students and researchers competing in the World Drone Challenge.Looking to become a Participant?Head on over to the website and register your interest or find us on Twitter @dronechallenge or Facebook (@worlddronechallenge)Now is your chance to sponsor, invest or own a piece of the World Drone Challenge!
