Entertainment/Media - New York, NY, US
Located in Rockefeller Center - WIE is founded by World Renowned Figure Skating and Professional Champion Rosanna Tovi. She is famous for pushing the boundaries of ice skating and has created some of the most precedent setting unique events in ice skating. World Ice Events launched the media kickoff of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. Applying her know-how with commercial events, Rosie is relentless with her work for charitable organizations and humanitarian based groups. In 2009 she produced and created a vision to benefit Susan G.Komen "For The Cure". Miss Tovi created visual effects and blended it with music, artistry and athleticism. The event featured Olympic champion Oksana Baiul and a cast of 40 World Class Skaters in tribute to the survivors and the families touched by the disease. The emotional event moved the audience to tears and a standing ovation. Born and raised in New York City and having traveled around the world, Miss Tovi's concerns regarding the environment has moved her to create Eco Friendly Ice. This surface allows for ice skating without the need for water, toxic refrigerants and requires no energy. A small but valuable contribution to safe and economical ice skating.
