The World Maker Education Alliance (WMEA) believes that "Be CREATIVE; ANYONE, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE," needs to be further promoted.Within the WMEA it is believed that there is a need for educators and learners to become increasingly enabled and to bring together and foster transnational creative initiatives and individuals from within the sciences, areas of design and engineering, while also for the to be enabled to obtain increasing joint access to stimulating and immersive communal spaces.WMEA members feel that creative communities need this so that a culture of creativity can be shared and inherited by future generations.Hence the founders of the WMEA invited close to 100 participants in an International Maker Education Forum organized at the Chinese Academy of Engineering , located in Beǐjīng, as well as at the Normal University of Nánjīng, China. This inaugurating event occured ion December 2015.The Group is now an official non-profit organization registered within the USA and continues its work linking like-minded individuals from around the world. The next public event shall be held mid-November (17th until 21st) during the China Education Equipment Industry Association's 71 st Conference in China's Náníng city, Guăngxī Province.
