The largest Music School in Richmond, BC – World of Music and Arts was established in 1997. In September 2009, its new location was opened in Richmond Steveston area to accommodate over 200 students and 10 teachers. Expanding further in September 2015, the school has moved into a new state-of-the-art facility designed especially for music lessons, to accommodate 500 students and 20 teachers.World of Music and Arts is home to WMA Concert Society, a non-profit charity. The society produces and hosts local and international classical concerts and organizes master-classes, where WMA students can take lessons with renowned performers of the world.WMA is wholeheartedly dedicated to providing the community around the City of Richmond and Lower Mainland with top-quality music education.
