For the first time in its history, the World Police & Fire Games are coming to the Netherlands. Rotterdam has been given the honor of organizing this large international mixed-sport event in the world. In the summer of 2022 almost 10,000 people who work in police, fire, customs and corrections departments from all over the world will compete in more than 60 sports. The World Police & Fire Games offer the opportunity to make friendships with colleagues from all over the world, and to show the world the meaning of cooperation, persistence, friendship and loyalty. The main focus of the World Police and Fire Games in Rotterdam will be on gratitude and respect. On behalf of the Dutch society we will thank everyone who works in the police, fire, customs and corrections department, who risk their lives daily for our safety.
