The World Radiography Educational Trust Foundation (WRETF) is a London-based not-for-profit, nonmembership organization created to empower,develop and enhance the radiography knowledge and skills of the international community of radiographers working in developing countries. The WRETF was inaugurated under a trust deed by the International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists in 1969 and was registered as a charity in the United Kingdom in 1977.Today, the WRETF is an independent organization assisting radiographers in countries such as Ghana, Malawi, Nepal, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, The Gambia, Tonga, Uganda and Zambia.
