World Upside Down is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to make arts education accessible and affordable for students K-12 so they can have the opportunity to discover, create, and express themselves through the arts. We can do this by providing video classes in music, visual arts, dance, and theater to public and private schools, after-school facilities, and homeschoolers absolutely free of charge. Our 30-minute video classes are ideal for group instruction and engage students in participation every step along the way. They come with lesson guides and 20-minute extension activities so that the facilitating instructor can conduct a 50-minute learning session. No prior arts education or experience is needed, and every lesson meets nationally accepted standards for the arts. Schools and other educational organizations can use our video classes as their primary art curriculum (when they cannot afford to hire an art instructor) or as a supplemental resource for their existing program.
