Write Advice Editing is an online editing and consulting business based in Austin, Texas.My name is Katie, and I started this business because I love the writing process–from brainstorming to making final revisions, there's something magical about producing words that will endure. As a (large) part of that process, I enjoy editing and coaching others in editing, writing, and speaking skills.I have a degree in telecommunication media studies from Texas A&M University, and I have three years of Writing Center experience, during which time I encountered students from all walks of life and writing from a vast array of disciplines. I am a Master Certified Tutor (the highest level) through the College Reading and Learning Association's International Tutor Training Program.I am also a certified teacher through the state of Texas, and have spent time teaching both English and math in the public school system.I have extensive experience with diverse facets of academic and non-academic writing, including technical writing, business writing, and creative writing. I have worked with writers on everything from novels to aerospace engineering dissertations.
