Writing for Education runs day courses for would-be education textbook writers to learn about the process and skill of education writing. The course covers:- How educational publishing works- What publishers want- How to write impressive sample text- Contracts, invoices and tax- Follow-up feedback and coachingThe focus is currently on mathematics education writing and the courses are held in Oxford, but new subjects and locations are coming soon.Writing for Education was founded by Dr Naomi Norman and Katherine Pate, who each have over 20 years' experience in teaching, educational publishing and writing, and a proven track record in author coaching. (Note: As well as courses, Writing for Education offers in-house courses for publishers, big and small.)
