Welcome, and thanks for visiting! I'm Amanda – freelance writer and blogger extraordinaire. I specialize in fulfilling the writing needs of small businesses and busy professionals. Born and raised in the Tampa Bay area, I love to give my community a boost by working locally, but making any community better is always a good thing, so I work with folks from all over these great United States. In my past life, I've worked as an administrative assistant, office manager and publishing house support team member. While I enjoyed all of those positions, the one thing that I noticed that I truly enjoyed doing in all of them was writing, so I decided to pack it up in the corporate world and turn my attention to freelancing full-time. Since then, I've worked with clients in a variety of industries, including veterinary medicine, e-commerce, e-publishing, pet care, business automation, online marketing, real estate and life insurance. I love learning new things, so getting the chance to work with so many different types of people, in so many different industries, has been awesome. And I just keep adding to the list! During my free time, I enjoy taking online courses in writing, marketing or social media. Some days, I even allow myself time to relax and spend time with my husband and our fur kids at one of our many local parks.
