Cortada Projects uses the power of art to engage the public in learning about and addressing environmental concerns. Through the creation of participatory art projects, Artist Xavier Cortada launched Cortada Projects to inspire, educate, and unite concerned citizens and our community around the greatest cause of our generation: climate change and sea level rise. Cortada Projects, a result of decades of artistic environmental expression, also allows people to reframe the way they see themselves and their relationship with the natural world. Not only are participants encouraged to explore and become curious about their local environment, but they are motivated to protect and live in tune with nature.
