Xavier Institute of Polytechnic and Technology (XIPT), Namkum was started by the registered society "Xavier Institute of Social Service", Ranchi in 2010. Since its inception, XIPT has grown strength to strength and today it is recognized across the state for quality education. The institute is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology, Jharkhand and presently offers AICTE approved courses in three branches - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
