Xcellos was founded by a successful software entrepreneur and an experienced strategic creative director. In the race to take advantage of social media, too many brands were building applications that were just not effective. We saw the opportunity to build applications that use data in the social graph to add value to the experience.That's the vision that launched Xcellos. Remember the days before the search engine? When directories of information gave us all a limited glimpse at relevant content? That's where we are in the evolution of social networking. There are some really popular directories that give us structure. Xcellos is building the logic that will transform the graph from a social directory into a socially relevant universe.Xcellos may be difficult to place in a category. We're not an ad agency. But we've got plenty of big brand advertising experience. We're not a software company. But we've built enterprise software solutions that have changed the way industries operate. We're certainly not a social media boutique. We're just a small team of marketing and development people who get it.
