XDC Details
XDC is a one-stop provider of digital cinema services. XDC provides end-to-end solutions regarding all digital cinema services, from financial offer to deployment, along with maintenance, training, content and network services and alternative content. Having signed VPF contracts with the six major Hollywood studios, XDC can provide the VPF (virtual print fee) financing model to exhibitors. Since 2004, XDC has managed the operations for the deployment of digital cinema systems into theatres, offering a totally agnostic range of DC equipment. XDC accounts for an outstanding maintenance service connected 24/7 to all XDC deployed screens all over Europe, through the Network Operations Centre. XDC's NOC provided on-site and online support, helpdesk, and monitoring. Via its Digital Media Services department XDC provides various content services: DCI mastering, KDM management, content delivery, localization, cross platform formatting. In addition, XDC offers network services (content delivery via satellite and terrestrial solutions) and is active in Alternative content sourcing, production and distribution. XDC is the "Official Partner" of the Locarno Film Festival and "Technical partner" of the Cannes Film Festival and a founding member of the European Digital Cinema Forum. XDC's main investor is EVS with a 30.2% fully diluted stake (41.3% not diluted) while SRIW and Gimv bare cornerstone investors with a 20.7% and 20.2% stake (fully diluted) respectively.
