Finding the right connections and resources is harder than it should be. XLR8 links rural and urban communities at the grassroots level, bringing together startups, growth innovators, investors, mentors, and entrepreneurship support organizations through our social matching platform. We accelerate collaboration and team building across the expanded entrepreneurship ecosystem, helping communities instantly access people and services in distant nodes on the network. There are many initiatives out there with the mission to build startup ecosystems, connect entrepreneurs, and accelerate startups. Unfortunately, there is a lot of duplication of resources and programming when organizations don't have an understanding of the value of regionalism. XLR8 gives entrepreneurs an unfair advantage by connecting them throughout the greater region to the most relevant people and organizations with our matching algorithm. XLR8 provides a robust social entrepreneurship community, an "on-ramp" for entrepreneur support organizations, an interconnected mentor network, an Angel Investor recruitment platform, a shared library of best practices and new ideas for community directors, original and curated training/media content, event management for regional "collaboratitions," and access to consultants and motivational speakers. We're launching in the greater St. Louis region and will grow nationally and internationally soon.
