Xockets builds a new category of infrastructure product for distributed computing. Today's infrastructure must both obey the economics of commodity scale-out data centers as well as function within the open source frameworks du jour. Xockets is the only infrastructure paradigm to do so, while simultaneously increasing the performance of these frameworks orders of magnitude, lowering power consumption, and lowering capital costs.Xockets was formed in 2012, is based in the San Francisco Bay Area, and graduated from the Alchemist accelerator in January 2013.
