Y Chrome Customs LLC (YCC) began in a garage in San Antonio, TX. The business moved to sandy Jacksonville, FL in '03. YCC designed and built custom handbuilt one-of-a-kind choppers for ten customers in the years of business nation-wide. The bikes came with custom metal work, unique paint work, a custom Inner Concepts seat, and YCC designed CNC parts including air cleaners, shift linkages, coil covers, ignition covers, and even wheels. In addition to the choppers, YCC also provided custom paint to everything from other cruiser and sportbikes to boats, race car hoods and skateboards. The business has now moved back to San Antonio and shifted in focus after the release of the book, "Bouncing off Guardrails," which begins in the office of YCC one week before the owner's open heart surgery. Though still squeezing in motorcycle work where possible, the primary focus of YCC now surrounds the book and motivational speaking based on it. YCC is also working on small entrepreneurial projects both internally and for customers that involve design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
