Y is a free A5 glossy magazine that has been set up by three creatives from Yeovil.We hold a genuine belief that there is a host of talent in Yeovil that in these hard times isn't getting showcased. We believe the high street is in the worst state it's ever been and that local businesses need to be highlighted and endorsed ahead of the national chains.We want Yeovil to have a small, intimate music venue that attracts artists of the calibre Franz Ferdinand and Fozzy like it used to. We want to show off the local artists, musicians, designers and other talents that are don't get the exposure they deserve.We're in the heart of cider country, we have breweries, we have handfuls of local pubs and restaurants that deserve to have the town's business.We want to take our town back from the national corporations who own the high street space and give Yeovil a boost – if we can.
