Yale-NUS Hacks (ync_hacks) is a student organization that aims to spread the maker culture within the liberal arts community of Yale-NUS. Our club activities include self-directed projects as well as workshops on various technical skills. We also host events such as fireside chats and talks with leading experts in the tech industry.Some highlights over the last academic year are:- A frontend workshop that taught students the basics of HTML, CSS, Javascript and React.js- A hardware workshop that focused on creating hardware solutions from ideation to final product. Participants were equipped with the basics of CAD, 3D printing, PCB design and manufacture and design thinking - The laundry project that aims to provide students with real-time updates on the availability of laundry machines on campus
