yAlgae has developed a unique technology to treat various pollutants in a green and sustainable manner while keeping capital and operating costs at the lowest levels possible. Focused on treating gaseous and liquid waste streams within power plants, the yAlgae treatment process can also be used to effectively treat many other forms of pollution.Current industrial environmental regulations favor processes incorporating Integrative Pollution Prevention and Control (IPPC). While several systems are regarded by European and American directives as IPPC Best Available Technologies (BAT), none of these systems are capable handling various pollutants of both gaseous and aquatic effluent streams. Additional deterrents to the holistic nature of common BAT-IPPC are hazardous or uneconomical byproducts of some IPPC processes.The yAlgae solution is an Integrative Pollution Prevention and Control (Bio-IPPC) system. This system can be incorporated into various industrial processes in a way that the byproduct is without hazardous potential and may be used as an economical raw material.
