Yapendo Details
Yapendo is a nonprofit organization dedicated to support, inspire and empower young women in Africa, strengthening their impact in their local communities. We aim at building a network of women serving girls from under-resourced communities across Africa.Our teams of Volunteer Mentors use theme-based curricula to guide small groups of girls.Through those groups and our online private forum, we are dedicated to strengthening the lives and communities of young women in impoverished neighborhoods in Selected cities.The program is FREE for girls ages 12 to 18 years old and includes weekly and monthly sessions, quarterly workshops and yearly ceremonies.
