YEPP International Resource Centre (YEPP IRC) is a transnational support agency for the YEPP Community Network of 16 YEPP Local Sites located in the areas of social disadvantage throughout Europe. By implementing the YEPP model "Concept of Change", which is a participatory grass-root approach to community organizing and youth empowerment, YEPP IRC seeks to bring about sustainable change and to improve the lives of children and young people with fewer opportunities in these areas. YEPP IRC working direction are centered around 5 goals: 1) youth empowerment and active citizenship, 2) community empowerment, 3) cross-sectorial partnership, 4) advocacy, 5) learning and capacity building for young people with fewer opportunities. They lay the ground for YEPP IRC work programme and its network activities at local and transnational level. YEPP IRC is located at the International Academy for Innovative Pedagogy, Psychology and Economics (INA gGmbH) at the Free University in Berlin, Germany.
