Yo Voy a Ti Details
Yo Voy a Ti was founded in 2008. We serve homeless and poor youths and their families living the city of Cochabamba Bolivia. Our current programs include: -Microfinance projects -The Soccer School -The Mobile School In Bolivia, the homeless comprise one of the most stigmatized segments of society. The youths, between about 5-18 years old, are especially discriminated against. They are often blamed for their own circumstances, abused by police and other authority figures, and largely ignored by the rest of society. Our programs let these young people know that someone does care for them and wants to invest in the outcome of their lives. We feel the empowerment that comes with economic solvency and education it are the strongest weapons against the crippling cycle of poverty.
