Yogi Corporation was formed in 1990 by Late Champaklal Shah with his two son's Paresh Shah and Vipul Shah. The Corporation stepped in the field of steel and iron sheets. It started the business just by selling maximum 2-3 sheets of steel a day. However, with the great efforts put in by Mr Paresh Shah and Mr Vipul Shah the business was scaled up and the results were visible from the year 1998.Yogi Corporation got a dealership of Jindal Steel Works, then known as JSW Steel for Sangli district hence, with a view to increase sales Yogi Corporation started a new plant in MIDC (Sangli). The company started selling the Jindal iron sheets in Sangli district and also in some nearby towns of Karnataka. As Sangli is situated on the border of Maharashtra and Karnataka.
