Yomba is a specialist support website that is committed to assisting Papua New Guinean women who experience domestic and family violence gain greater access to the justice system in Papua New Guinea. We provide general information on the areas of domestic violence and child protection. Our aim is to inform Papua New Guinean women of their rights under the law and to simplify the procedure for attaining a protection order in Port Moresby. \\Yomba will also coordinate pro bono legal services nationally for Papua New Guinean women who are disadvantaged and disempowered. We can refer women through our referral service in partnership with law firms and individual legal practitioners who have agreed to undertake pro bono work for eligible applicants of our service.
