Yorkshire Lowland Rescue was founded to provide trained search and rescue technicians to the Police in Yorkshire and the Humber. A vulnerable missing person could be a child, an elderly person suffering from dementia or even someone who is considering taking their own life.All of our volunteers are trained to national standards set by the Association of Lowland Rescue (Lowland Rescue) in Search and Rescue techniques. We support many of the Mountain Rescue teams who operate within Yorkshire. Additionally we offer mutual aid to surrounding Lowland Rescue teams.Yorkshire Lowland Rescue relies entirely on donations from the public and local businesses and receives no government funding.
