YorkU Hacks isn't just another hackathon. It is a festival to celebrate innovative ideas. We are uniting 300 of the brightest minds from diverse disciplines to tackle some of the global challenges. You'll plunge into your social conscience and will tackle the problems that plague our world today. Be it climate change, clean water or cyber security, we aim to empower the next 300 to see the opportunities in problems. In 24 hours time, you will have a unique opportunity to learn and create. You will explore your passions and learn in ways that go beyond the technical. By the end of the hackathon you will end up developing, testing and deploying your ideas created from scratch.
