YouSTUDY International College is Cairns' premier provider of language education courses for international students and is the IELTS Testing Centre for Far North Queensland. The College has been in its current location for nearly 30 years, originally known as International House, then Kaplan International Cairns. The College is now privately owned and run by Cairns resident Carol Doyle.Our College has helped thousands of students to change their lives by providing high-quality, effective English language classes in a friendly, welcoming environment. Our staff are committed to supporting our students reach their goals and we believe that by treating our students as individuals and tailoring our classes to the needs of our students we can best enable our students to become confident English speakers and to reach their goals. We want each of our students to love living in Cairns as much as we do, and to ensure that they leave our school with lifelong memories of Cairns and our College.The College is located in the CBD, only a short walk from major shopping facilities. Our school features large, brightly-lit, air-conditioned classrooms opening onto an outdoor veranda area, as well as two recreational areas: a café and bar on the rear outdoor balcony area and a spacious student common room with kitchen facilities, vending machines, computer access and microwaves.Our academic staff utilise the latest educational technology in their teaching and our classrooms feature networked computers and/or interactive whiteboards to enhance the student learning experience. We also offer a fully-equipped computer room, a study centre/library area and free wireless internet access throughout the building.The school is conveniently located close to bus stops servicing most main bus routes into Cairns and has free on-street car parking outside the school. The school also offers off-street bicycle parking for students who choose to commute to school by bicycle.
