Young Leaders Initiative Details
YLI is a pan-African community of young African entrepreneurs, professionals and social change agents set to become the future generation of African leaders that will drive and impact Africa's future social and economic development. Our goal as an organization is to connect and develop young leaders across the continent with the purpose of entrenching entrepreneurship as the main driver of development on the African continent. YLI will have five chapters across the continent located in South Africa, Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, and Zambia. We will be launching our first chapter in South Africa in January 2014, with Ghana and Zambia to follow in 2015. We will also be partnering with the African Leadership Network – the premier pan-African network of the most dynamic and influential leaders of the "new generation" in Africa – in order to provide our members with the opportunity to be mentored by some of the current generation of African leaders who are playing a significant role in developing the continent.
