Through the powerful experience of singing together, YPCC creates a high-quality, joyful, and approachable artistic community of passionate young professionals. With over 1,200 members and four active artistic divisions, YPCC has seen rapid success in its first seven seasons. As it heads into year eight, the singers (aged 21-45) have been part of a world premiere Opera (Blind Injustice), a choral-orchestral work written just for them and debuted in Carnegie Hall (PRISM), multiple collaborative performances with partners like Cincinnati Opera, Cincinnati Art Museum, Pones Inc. and more, have sung backup for superstars like Barry Manilow and Josh Groban, and have received awards, support and recognition - all while having fun and developing a powerful "tribe" of talented YP's who come together to raise their voices, connect to their city and meet peers who love joyful, impactful music.
