The Union County Young Republicans (UCYR) was founded July 4, 2018 by President Aaron J. Carpenter of Marysville, Ohio. UCYR is a chapter of the Ohio Young Republicans (Ohio YR's), which is a part of the larger, nationwide Young Republicans National Federation (YRNF). As the national GOP's primary youth auxiliary, YRNF provides grassroots support for Republican candidates and conservative issues on a local, state, and national level. Since its creation, the Young Republicans have established a solid record of producing future leaders in the Republican Party.
