We provide Speech-Language Assessment and Treatment in both home and childcare settings. We combine both behavioural methods and naturalistic teaching to best meet the individual communication needs of the learner. We find that our clients benefit from a multi-faceted team approach. We collaborate with caregivers, parents, siblings, teachers, therapists, and other members of the team.At Your Turn Communication Therapy, we work from a strengths-based perspective, where the student's strengths and preferences are the foundation of teaching. We believe in the importance of setting a child up for success in order to maximize their potential. In our experience, this approach has not only shown success in meeting learning goals, but has simultaneously increased the student's intrinsic motivation and self-esteem.
