Established on August 28, 2018, Youth Empowerment Model United Nations - YE-MUN was among the pioneering organizations in Phu Yen to aim at youth comprehensive development. With the enthusiastic and passionate Secretariats from multiple regions in Vietnam, the upcoming months were then dedicated to planning and strategizing for YE-MUN's warm-up events, one of which was the Workshop: Youth in the scene of Globalization in June, marking the official operation of the organization. As the Secretariats have experienced and comprehended the organization's culture, YE-MUN went on to organize its first Main Conference to better the model of extracurricular activities in the province of Phu Yen and simultaneously bridge students with contemporary international affairs. YE-MUN 2019 successfully attracted more than 100 students from all around Vietnam which was a good boon for the Organizing team and the hope for its future development.If 2019 is an experiment then 2020 is actually a great leap. 2020 marked the first Vietnamese committees ever to exist at YE-MUN and a Press conference that serves to report the progress of the committees. Yet the GA (General Assembly) committees were once again doing their best in forming a foundation for participants, particularly delegates to raise their voices about problems including but not limited to trading activities among European member states in the post-pandemic scenario, AI impact on the job market, sustainable tourism development.Inheriting the spiritual legacy of previous generations of the Secretariats, YE-MUN pressed on to accomplish its ultimate mission which is demonstrated through the theme: The Blooming. The theme proudly represents YE-MUN's three-year journey to professionalism and diplomacy.
