Youth Global Leadership of Korea Details
The History of YGLK Formerly known as the "Organizing Committee for Korean Delegations", Youth Global Leadership of Korea(YGLK) was founded in 2011, right after the G20 Youth Summit, Paris. YGLK had recruited 3 delegations, Head of Delegation, Sherpa and the Minister of Development for the following G20 Youth Summit in Washington D.C, 2012. At the current time, YGLK is in the middle of preparation of recruitment for the upcoming Y8 and Y20 Summit which will be held in London and St. Petersburg respectively this year. The Mission YGLK aims to boost the engagement of the youths of Korea in the most prestigious youth conference in the world so that they can discuss and research foreign political, economic, environmental, developmental and financial policies both in Korea and abroad. The Vision YGLK seeks to empower the youths of Korea to be more involved in global youth conferences to be prepared for the authentic international summits in the near future. At the moment, Ms. Halin Han is running the YGLK as the Chair which is based in Seoul and Ms. Jisu Oh is taking the lead of the YGLK in London.
