ABOUT USYouth Health Action Network – YOHAN is a youth-led non-profit and non-government organization with a vision to help Africa attain universal health coverage in the face of limited resource, becoming a formidable platform for promoting and protecting the health of Africans.This main goal being to provide a platform with the necessary structure for young people to develop innovative and low-cost solutions to issues of public health importance. Our focus is majorly but not only on the health of young Africans who are the life of the continent. We understand that the relationship between health and development is well established, hence our organizational goals achieved through our intervention programs are our own contributions to Africa's development and an effective way of empowering her people.We are promoting the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 3 – GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING and GOAL 4- QUALITY EDUCATION.With our global public health approach in our programs, we also are involved in PARTNERSHIP FOR THE GOALS-GOALSAccording to WHO, Health is the complete state of physical, mental and social well-being in which disease and infirmity is absent. we are fully involved in these 3 aspects of health as it reflects in our different programs.VISIONTo be the leading non-profit organization fostering health for human development in Africa.MISSIONTo promote holistic health in Africans especially amongst the youth through health education, advocacy and targeted intervention programs.WHAT WE DOWe give the African youth a platform to implement public health ideas, learn, network and we invest in Africa's growth by innovatively improving the healthcare of her people.WHAT MOVES US We are moved by the poor human development index in majority of Africa which lack of quality healthcare is a major contributor. This situation can only improve if we get involved in promoting and protecting our health and that of our communities.
