As young people today continue to advocate for awareness and support for their mental health, there has been an increasing demand for appropriate resources. Conventional therapy services are often unavailable or unaffordable, particularly for young people. This affects them negatively by stripping them of the ability to work through times of high stress or concern.Youth Listener was founded by Samantha Subali, an empathetic individual by nature who recognized the mental health crisis that was ignited by the global pandemic. Since its inception in January 2021, Youth Listener has already provided aid to over 1,500 participants around the globe. At Youth Listener, our mission is to become a trusted resource for emotional support by providing a free global network for those who need to connect, share their stories, and learn more about emotional wellness. We understand how valuable a listening ear can be when life seems overwhelming or unmanageable. We recognize that sometimes all you need is a supportive confidant to talk through dilemmas, air out grievances, or provide consolation.Our state-of-the-art digital approach ensures immediate access to support by highly trained volunteers in your time of need. All connections made through Youth Listener are confidential and support can be provided virtually in all countries around the world. Our complimentary services are an invaluable tool for those in need of emotional support who may not have the funds to seek more conventional therapeutic methods. When we listen, we can change lives.
